gnokii-dbg software package provides Datasuite for mobile phone management (debug symbols, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gnokii-dbg
gnokii-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gnokii-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gnokii-dbg *
You will get with gnokii-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
